AAPI Summer Social: Craft & Connect
Join the Asian American Advocacy Fund (AAAF), Asian Student Alliance (ASA), Asian American Voices for Education (AAVEd) for an afternoon of crafting, connection, and conversation! We will have snacks and various activities like bracelet making, zine making, and more! This Summer Social is open to AAPI artists and students.
About AAAF – The Asian American Advocacy Fund amplifies the collective power of Georgia’s Asian American communities’ through community organizing, storytelling, electoral organizing, and policy advocacy. About ASA – The Asian Student Alliance engages AAPI youth to create community impact through leadership development and civic engagement. Their mission is for AAPI youth and community members to co-create a pathway for youth to be empowered members and agents of change in their communities.
About AAVEd – Asian American Voices for Education envisions a Georgia where all students and families understand our interwoven histories and create meaningful social change in solidarity with one another. They do this by lifting up Asian American voices and honoring the stories of all people to transform Georgia schools.
