DESCRIPTION:Join the Asian American Advocacy Fund (AAAF)\, Asian Student Alliance (ASA)\, Asian American Voices for Education (AAVEd) for an afternoon of crafting\, connection\, and conversation! We will have snacks and various activities like bracelet making\, zine making\, and more! This Summer Social is open to AAPI artists and students. \nAbout AAAF – The Asian American Advocacy Fund amplifies the collective power of Georgia’s Asian American communities’ through community organizing\, storytelling\, electoral organizing\, and policy advocacy. Our vision is a Georgia with just systems that supports the collective power\, liberation and prosperity of all. Their mission is for AAPI youth and community members to co-create a pathway for youth to be empowered members and agents of change in their communities. \nAbout AAVEd – Asian American Voices for Education envisions a Georgia where all students and families understand our interwoven histories and create meaningful social change in solidarity with one another.
